BEFORE RIDING YOU MUST FIT CHECK YOUR SHOCK FOR FRAME AND SEAT POST CLEARANCE!

Please follow the steps applicable to your shock model:

FOR COIL SHOCKS
Make sure the coil spring has been removed from the shock per the instructions located in your owner's manual.

Mount the shock, without spring, to your frame.

Slowly cycle the shock through its travel to ensure that none of the shock's components come in contact with the frame at any point. If there is any frame contact, the shock will not work with your frame. DO NOT USE.

It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that the shock fits properly prior to riding. Any damage to the shock or frame resulting from incompatible fit is not covered under warranty.

If it is determined that there is adequate frame/shock clearance, unbolt the shock from the frame, install the coil spring per instruction in your owner's manual, and remount the shock to the frame.

FOR AIR SHOCKS
Release all of the main spring pressure (from the black Schrader valve) and mount the shock to your frame.
